يهدف البحث إلى بناء وحدة تدريسية في تصميم ملابس النساء (الجزء العلوي) لطالبات الفرقة الثالثة بالشعبة التربوية، وتحتوي على الأنواع المختلفة لفتحات الرقبة، الأنواع المختلفة للأكمام، والأنواع المختلفة للأكوال، وبعض تصريفات بنسة الصدر، وتم تطبيق البرنامج على دفعة الفرقة الثالثة بالشعبة التربوية المكونة من فصلين عددها طالبة، ويتبع هذا البحث المنهج التجريبي ذو المجموعة الواحدة والذي يتطلب قياسا قبليا للمعلومات والمهارات ثم قياسا بعديا لنفس المجموعة. وتوصلت النتائج إلى ما يلي: وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين متوسطي درجات العينة في الاختبارين المعرفي والمهاري قبل وبعد تطبيق الوحدة التدريسية لصالح التطبيق البعدي عند مستوى 0.01. The research is aiming at constructing an instructional unit about designing women's clothing (the bodice) for the educational branch/ third grade students, including the different kinds of neck openings, sleeves, collars, and some types of chest darts. The program was applied on the two classes of the educational branch/ third grade students comprising 25 female students. This research adopted the one-group experimental methodology, requiring pre and post measurements for the knowledge and skills, of the same group. The results revealed the following: Statistically significant differences were shown in the score means of the sample, in relation to the knowledge and skill tests between pre and post application of the instructional unit, favoring post application on the significance level of 0.01.
