هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى استقصاء الذاكرة العاملة والمشكلات السلوكية وعلاقتهما باضطرابات النوم لدى عينة من الأطفال التوحديين، وقد أجريت الدراسة على عينة مكونة من (30) طفل مصاب باضطراب التوحد حيث كانت العينة من أكاديمية التوحد الأردنية، ومركز إدراك للتربية الخاصة، والمركز العربي للتربية الخاصة، وقد تم تطوير استبانة خاصة لأغراض هذه الدراسة، وأظهرت النتائج عدم وجود علاقة بين اضطرابات النوم وكل من الذاكرة العاملة والمشكلات السلوكية لدى الأطفال التوحديين حيث تراوحت معاملات الارتباط بين (-0.256- 0.274) وهي غير دالة إحصائيا عند مستوى دلالة (α =0.05). ولم توضح النتائج وجود أي فروقات دالة إحصائيا بين هذه المتغيرات، مما يؤكد صعوبة دراسة مثل هذه المتغيرات عند هذه الفئات من الأطفال التوحديين من أفراد التربية الخاصة. نظرا للتضارب الكبير في نتائج الدراسات التي بحثت هذه المتغيرات مما ساهم في صعوبة الربط المنطقي بين الدراسة الحالية والدراسات الأخرى السابقة خاصة مع اضطراب التوحد. وتوصي الباحثتان إلى تكثيف البحوث والدراسات الطولية على عينة أكبر من الأطفال التوحديين لمعرفة العلاقة الواضحة بين الذاكرة العاملة ومتغيرات أخرى مرتبطة، ودراسة هذه المتغيرات عليهم بشكل منفرد ثم إيجاد وربط العلاقات المناسبة بينهم وإيجاد حلول للمشكلات، وتوفير دعم مدرسي فعال لهؤلاء الأطفال، ليقلل من المشكلات التعليمية التي يواجهونها. This study aimed to investigate the working memory and behavioral problems and their relationship with sleep disorders in a sample of autistic children, the study conducted on a sample of (30) a child with Autism, where the sample was from the Jordanian Academy of Autism, Perception Center for Special Education, and the Arab Center for Special Education , it has been developed particularly questionnaire for the purposes of this study, and the results showed that there is no relation between sleep disorders and all of working memory and behavioral problems among autism children, which range between (-0.256 - 0.274), which is no statistically significant at (α=0.05). The results did not explain any statistically significant differences existence between these variables, which confirms the difficulty of studying these variables for autistic children from special education. Due to great conflicts of the study’s results which examined these variables which contributed to the difficulty of logical linking between This study and other previous studies especially with autistic disorder, and the researchers recommends to intensify research and longitudinal studies on a larger sample of autistic children to learn the clear relationship between working memory and other associated variables, studying these variables on them individually, then find and connect appropriate relations between them and find solutions to problems, and to provide an effective support for these children, to reduce the educational problems.
