This scientific paper aims to identify the digital skills of the teacher in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, by tracking the studies that dealt with the subject in terms of the importance of digital skills and their advantages, the challenges facing their development, and the mechanisms for achieving and developing them among the contemporary teacher. For this reason, the researcher adopted the descriptive and analytical approach to the most important Saudi and international studies on the subject. The paper concluded with a set of findings that teachers' digital skills have become an urgent necessity in light of the new world order and in light of the challenges associated with health crises, labor market requirements and the knowledge economy. The research also concluded a set of practical mechanisms that would develop the digital skills of male and female teachers, whether through updating training curricula and methods, creating interactive digital platforms for training and sharing successful experiences, in addition to involving all actors in the educational field from the School Supervision and Leadership Authority in Tayseer. Providing the conditions for developing digital skills for teachers and motivating them to do so. The paper also concluded with a set of recommendations related to the need to develop a motivational system for the digital teacher, change training patterns by adopting digitization and modern methods, and develop continuous in-service training programming in the field of digital skills.
