يهدف البحث إلى محاولة إقامة الروابط بين مقرر تقنيات القص والخياطة ومقرر تصميم وتنفيذ المفروشات اعتمادا على ما يوجد بينهما من تشابه في بعض المعارف والمهارات من خلال إعداد وحدة تعليمية لتنمية مهارات الطالبات في زخرفة وتزيين المفروشات ضمن مقرر تقنيات القص والخياطة وقياس فاعلية الوحدة التعليمية المقترحة على الأداء المهاري للطالبات في زخرفة وتزيين المفروشات باستخدام تقنيات القص والخياطة، تكونت عينة البحث من (25) طالبة بقسم الإقتصاد المنزلي بكلية الإدارة والإقتصاد المنزلي بجامعة الملك خالد بالمملكة العربية السعودية واللاتي يدرسن مقرر تقنيات القص والخياطة، ويتبع هذا البحث المنهج التجريبي ذو المجموعة الواحدة والذي يتطلب قياسا قبليا للمعلومات والمهارات ثم قياسا بعديا لنفس المجموعة. وتوصلت النتائج إلى، وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين متوسط درجات العينة في الاختبارين المعرفي والمهاري قبل وبعد تطبيق الوحدة التدريسية لصالح التطبيق البعدي عند مستوى 0.01. The research aims to try to establish links between the course of cutting and sewing techniques and course design of decorating furnishings depending on what similarities there are between them in some of the knowledge and skills through the preparation of an educational unit for the development of female students skills in decorating furnishings within the course of cutting and sewing storytelling techniques and measuring educational unit effectiveness of the proposed performance of female students in the decoration and decorating furnishings using cutting and sewing techniques, research sample consisted of (25) female students from Home Economics Department at Home administration and Economics at King Khalid University in Saudi Arabia , who are studying the course of Cut and sewing technique, and follows this empirical research method of a single group, which requires pre-measurement of information and skills and post-measurement to the same group. The results reached to, that there are significant statistical differences between the average scores of the sample in both knowledgeable and skills tests before and after the application of the teaching unit for post-application at the level of 0.01.
