هدفت الدراسة الكشف عن تطور المهارات الكتابية في كتب القراءة لغتي العربية ومهاراتها في صفوف المرحلة المتوسطة في دولة الكويت، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة، قام الباحث بتحليل محتوى كتـب القـراءة لغتي العـربية ومهاراتها، وبعد تحقق الباحث من صدق الأداة وثباتها، استخدم الأنموذج المعد لغرض تحليل الكتب عينة الدراسة، ومن ثم رصد النتائج في جداول وفق أسئلة الدراسة. أظهرت نتائج الدراسة تطوراً في هذه المهارات، حيث لوحظ تطورها وارتفاع نسبتها في الصف الثامن عن الصف السابع، وفي الصف التاسع عن الصف الثامن. وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة أيضا ملاءمة المهارات الكتابية، ففي الصف السابع حيث انخفضت درجة وجود المهارات الكتابية عن الصف الثامن مراعاة للنمو العقلي لهذه المرحلة، وكذلك في الثامن والتاسع حيث يلاحظ ارتفاعها في الصف التاسع عنها في الصف الثامن. This study aimed at uncovering of development of writing skills in the Arabic reading textbooks and their skills in seventh, eighth, and nineth grades in Kuwait. The study tried to answer the following questions: What are the writing skills found in the Arabic Textbooks and their skills in these classes? How are the writing skills distributed among seventh, eighth, and nineth grades? And how far are the writing skills suitable for each class? To achieve the aims of the study the researcher developed classification of writing skills cope with the strategy of the research used in the study " Analysis of the Arabic Reading Textbooks and their skills Content ". The population of the study is all Arabic reading books for seventh, eighth, and nineth grades, while as the study sample is the society itself. The results of the study showed a development in these skills in the different classes as it was noticed that these skills are developed and increased from class to another. This development in the skills from one class to another go with the school stage to each class in the stage. The study results also showed the suitability of the writing skills to each class.
