هدف البحث إلى محاولة تطوير منهج الإقتصاد المنزلي في ضوء أبعاد التربية الوقائية لمواجهة جائحة فيروس كورونا المستجد (كوفيد-19). وفي سبيل ذلك، تم بناء إستبانة لتحديد أبعاد التربية الوقائية وتم عرضها على الأساتذة المتخصصين لإبداء الرأي، وفي ضوء نتائج الإستبانة تم بناء قائمة بأبعاد التربية الوقائية وتضمنت (4) أبعاد رئيسية شملت (45) موضوعاً، وتم إستخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلى لتحليل محتوى منهج الإقتصاد المنزلي للصفوف الثلاثة الإعدادية، وإشتملت على (6) كتب بواقع كتابين لكل مرحلة دراسية، وتبين من نتائج التحليل عدم تضمين محتوى منهج الإقتصاد المنزلي لأبعاد التربية الوقائية اللازمة لمواجهة جائحة فيروس كورونا المستجد (كوفيد-19)، وفي ضوء هذه النتيجة، تم وضع تصور مقترح لتطوير وحدة دراسية من منهج الإقتصاد المنزلي للصف الأول الإعدادى كنموذج تفصيلى لكيفية تطوير بقية وحدات المناهج، وقد خرج البحث بمجموعة من التوصيات أهمها توجيه نظر متخصصي مناهج وبرامج الإقتصاد المنزلي في جميع المراحل التعليمية إلى تضمين أبعاد التربية الوقائية في المناهج الدراسية. This research aimed at developing the Home Economics curricula in the light of Preventive Education dimensions in Confronting Coronavirus (covid -19) Pandemic. the questionnaire was designed to determine the Preventive Education dimensions, this list was presented to specialized professors to express their opinion, In the light of results of the questionnaire a list of Preventive Education was prepared. The list included four main dimensions, the list included (45) subjects, the descriptive analytical approach was used to analyzing the content of the economics books for the preparatory stage, which included six books by two books for each stage. Results of the study indicated that the content of these books does not included the Preventive Education dimensions which is necessary to Confronting Coronavirus (covid -19) Pandemic. In the light of this result, a suggested perspective has been built a unit of home economics curriculum for first preparatory school in the light of Preventive Education dimensions In Confronting Coronavirus (covid -19) Pandemic was designed as a detailed model to develop the rest units in the curricula. The research recommended that: there are a Necessary need to directing the attention of specialized in curricula and programs for home economics to included Preventive Education dimensions in curriculum in all educational stages.
