تناولت الدراسة اتجاهات آراء الهيئة التدريسية والطلاب بمرحلة التعليم الثانوي بدولة الكويت نحو إدراكهم لأهمية تطبيق أسلوب التعليم الإلكتروني كأداة لتطوير التعليم، ومدى توافر كفايات التعليم الإلكتروني لديهم، وبيان ارتباط وتأثير تلك الكفايات على مدى إدراكهم. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى النتائج التالية: 1) وجود آراء إيجابية لدى كل من الهيئة التدريسية والطلاب نحو إدراكهم لأهمية تطبيق أسلوب التعليم الإلكتروني كأداة لتطوير التعليم، كما تباينت آراء أعضاء هيئة التدريس تبعاً لاختلاف كل من متغير "النوع، الجنسية، ملائمة أسلوب التعليم الإلكتروني لتعليم الطلاب، والمنطقة التعليمية"، وعدم وجود تباين في آرائهم تبعاً لكل من متغير" الدورات التدريبية في مجال الحاسب وتكنولوجيا التعليم، التخصص الوظيفي، سنوات الخبرة "، كما تباينت آراء الطلاب تبعاً لاختلاف كل من متغير " المنطقة التعليمية، التخصص الدراسي، الصف الدراسي، وكما تبين عدم وجود تباين في آرائهم تبعا لكل من متغير" النوع، الجنسية ". 2) توافر الكفايات المؤهلة لأسلوب التعليم الإلكتروني لدى كل من أعضاء هيئة التدريس والطلاب بدرجة عالية. 3) وجود علاقات ارتباط إيجابية بين كفايات التعليم الإلكتروني لكل من أعضاء هيئة التدريس والطلاب وإدراكهم لأهمية تطبيق أسلوب التعليم الإلكتروني كأداة لتطوير التعليم. 4) وجود أثر ذو دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى معنوية (0.05) لكفايات التعليم الإلكتروني بأبعادها مجتمعة وآراء كل من الهيئة التدريسية والطلاب نحو إدراكهم لأهمية تطبيق أسلوب التعليم الإلكتروني كأداة لتطوير التعليم. This study examined the trends of faculty and students ( in Kuwait Public high schools) with regards to their awareness of the importance of applying the method of e-learning as a tool for the development of education, and the availability of the qualifications of e-learning which they have and the relevance and impact of these qualifications towards their recognition. The study concluded the following results: 1) Positive trends of both faculty and students towards an understanding of the importance of applying the e-learning method as a tool for the development of education Views of faculty members differed depending on the following variations: gender, nationality, convenience of applying the e-learning method to teach students, and the school district No difference in opinion was noted based on the variation of: training courses in the field of computer and technology, education, job specialty, or years of experience Differing views of students were dependent on the variation of: school district, study major, class year and all views were independent of gender or nationality. 2) The high degree of availability of qualified skills for the e-learning method from both members of the faculty and students. 3) The existence of a positive relation between the qualifications of e-learning from both faculty and students and their awareness of the importance of applying the method of e-learning as a tool for the development of education. 4) Having a statistically significant effect at a (0.05) level of significance for the qualifications of eLearning in all of its combined aspects and orientation of each of the faculty and students about their understanding of the importance of applying the method of e-learning as a tool for the development of education.
