هدف البحث إلى معرفة الاحتياجات المهنية لمدرسي الكيمياء في المرحلة الإعدادية بالعراق. تكونت عينة الدراسة من (40) مدرسا من مدرسي الكيمياء، يدرسون مادة الكيمياء في مركز محافظة واسط للفصل الثاني من العام الدراسي 2019-2020 م، منهم (20) مدرسا يدرسون الصف الخامس الإعدادي، (20) مدرسا يدرسون الصف الرابع الإعدادي، عدد الذكور (23) مدرسا، وعدد الإناث (17) مدرسة. خلصت الدراسة للقائمة النهائية للاحتياجات المهنية اللازمة لمدرسي المرحلة الإعدادية في الكيمياء كالآتي: أولا: الاحتياجات المهنية في مجال مهارات التدريس، 18 احتياجا. ثانيا: الاحتياجات المهنية في مجال المهارات الشخصية، 6 احتياجات. ثالثا: الاحتياجات المهنية في مجال المهارات البحثية وتطوير الذات، 8 احتياجات. رابعا: الاحتياجات المهنية في مجال المهارات التقنية، 7 احتياجات. خامسا: الاحتياجات المهنية في مجال المهارات القيادية، 6 احتياجات. أوصت الدراسة بإجراء المزيد من الدراسات الهادفة إلى تنمية التحصيل المعرفي والجانب المهاري لمدرسي الكيمياء بالعراق، وضرورة عمل دورات تدريبية للمدرسين أثناء الخدمة لتلبية احتياجاتهم التدريبية، والعمل على توعية مدراء المدارس بأهمية وضع البرامج التدريبية في تنمية مهارات المدرسين. The present study aims to find out the professional needs for the chemistry teachers in the preparatory stage in Iraq. The sample of the study consisted of (40) chemistry teachers, who teach chemistry at was its governorate center for the second semester of the academic year 2019- 2020, where (20) teachers of them teach the fifth preparatory class and (20) teachers teach the fourth preparatory class. The number of males is (23) teachers and the number of females is (17) teachers. The study concluded that, the final list of the professional needs required for preparatory teachers in chemistry as follows: First: The Professional needs in the field of teaching skills are 18 needs. Second: The professional needs in the field of personal skills are 6 needs. Third: The professional needs in the field of research skills and self-development are 8 needs. Fourth: The professional needs in the field of technical skills are 7 needs. Fifth: The Professional needs in the field of leadership skills are 6 needs. The study recommended with conducting more targeted studies at developing cognitive attainment and the skilled aspect of chemistry teachers in Iraq. The study also recommended with the need to conduct training courses for teachers in-service to meet their training needs, work to educate school administrators on the importance of training programs in the development of teacher skills.
