هدفت الدراسة إلى استقصاء فاعلية برنامج تدريبي في تنمية ممارسات معلمي الرياضيات بالمرحلة المتوسطة لاستراتيجيات تدريس مهارات التفكير العليا بمحافظة جدة. استخدم المنهج التجريبي ذو التصميم شبه التجريبي على عينة عشوائية بلغت (30) معلما من معلمي الرياضيات، وطبقت بطاقة ملاحظة أداء معلمي الرياضيات في تطبيق استراتيجيات تنمية مهارات التفكير العليا التي أعدها الباحث قبليا عليهم، ودربوا على البرنامج التدريبي المعد، ثم طبقت بطاقة الملاحظة بعديا، وجمعت البيانات وحللت إحصائيا. أظهرت نتائج اختبار (ت) للعينات المترابطة وجود فرق دال إحصائيا عند مستوى (α ≤ 0.05) بين متوسطي درجات المجموعة التجريبية بين التطبيقين القبلي والبعدي على بطاقة الملاحظة لتطبيق استراتيجية: (التعلم المستند إلى المشكلات - استراتيجية التساؤل الذاتي - استراتيجية حل المسألة الرياضية) لتدريس مهارات التفكير العليا لصالح التطبيق البعدي، كما أظهرت نتائج معادلة الكسب المعدل لبلاك فاعلية البرنامج التدريبي في إكساب معلمي الرياضيات بالمرحلة المتوسطة (عينة الدراسة) استراتيجيات تدريس مهارات التفكير العليا ككل، وأوصي بالاهتمام بتدريب معلمي الرياضيات أثناء الخدمة على استخدام مهارات تدريس مهارات التفكير العليا في مناهج الرياضيات في المرحلة المتوسطة، وتمكينهم من تطبيق تلك المهارات عن طريق تخفيف العبء التدريسي. The study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of a training program in developing the practices of mathematics teachers at the intermediate stage of strategies for teaching higher-order thinking skills in Jeddah, and the experimental approach with a semi-experimental design was used on a random sample of (30) teachers from mathematics teachers, and a performance observation card for math teachers has been used for applying the strategies for higher thinking skills development, pre-prepared by the researcher, and they were trained in the prepared training program, then the observation card was post-applied. The data were collected and analyzed statistically, and the results of the test (T) of the correlated samples showed a statistically significant difference at (α ≤ 0.05) between the average experimental group scores between the pre and post-applications on the observation card for the application of (the problem-based learning strategy, a self-questioning strategy, and a solution strategy for the mathematical issue) for teaching higher-order thinking skills in favor of post-application, as the results of the Modified Blake's Gain Ratio showed the effectiveness of the training program in providing middle school mathematics teachers (study sample) strategies for teaching higher-level thinking skills as a whole. The researcher recommends giving attention to in-service training for mathematics teachers on the use of higher-order teaching skills in mathematics curricula at the intermediate level and enabling them to apply those skills, by reducing the teaching burden.
