تهدف الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرف على الفروق في النرجسية الأكاديمية والامتنان وفقاً للنوع والتحصيل الدراسي لدى الناطقين بغير اللغة العربية. وتضمنت عينة الدراسة (218) طالباً وطالبة بمعهد تعليم اللغة العربية لغير الناطقين بها - جامعة أم القرى، بالمملكة العربية السعودية. وذلك في الفصل الدراسي الأول للعام الجامعي 1438- 1439هـ، طبق عليهم مقياسي النرجسية الأكاديمية والامتنان (إعداد الباحث). وأشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى أنه يوجد مستوى متوسط من النرجسية الأكاديمية ومستوى كبير من الامتنان لدى عينة البحث، وتوجد علاقة ارتباطية دالة إحصائيا وموجبة بين النرجسية الأكاديمية والامتنان، وتوجد فروق في بعض أبعاد النرجسية الأكاديمية وفقاً لمتغيري النوع والتحصيل الدراسي والتفاعل بينهما، ولا توجد فروق في الامتنان وفقا لمتغيري النوع والتحصيل الدراسي والتفاعل بينهما. The present study aims to identify the differences in academic narcissism and gratitude according to gender and academic achievement among non-native Arabic speaking students. The sample included (218) male and female students in the Institute of Arabic Language Teaching for non-native speakers - Umm Al Qura University, Saudi Arabia, in the first semester of the academic year 1438-1439 AH. To these students, Academic narcissism scale (prepared by the researcher), and gratitude scale (Prepared by the researcher) were applied. The results of the study indicate that there is an average level of academic narcissism and a high level of gratitude in the research sample. There is a significant positive correlation between academic narcissism and gratitude. There are differences in some dimensions of academic narcissism according to gender and academic achievement variables and the interaction between them. Meanwhile, there are no differences in gratitude according to gender and academic achievement variables and the interaction between them. (Published abstract)
