The research aimed to improve the performance of administrative leaders for their role in reducing counterproductive behaviors at Aswan University, through the implementation of a proposed action research plan, and the descriptive approach was relied upon, and three research tools were used to collect data from the research sample consisting of (16) administrative leaders and (89) employees in the pre-application, and (11) administrative leaders and (60) employees in the post-application. These tools are: questionnaires, interviews, thinking sheets. The results resulted in an improvement in the performance of the administrative leaders for their role in reducing counterproductive behaviors after the implementation of the action search plan for their performance before implementation by (16.5%), although their performance before and after implementation was in the average direction, the performance after implementation of the plan came with a mean (2.08) and a standard deviation of (0.63), with a rate of (54%), while the reality of performance before the implementation of the plan came with a mean of (1.75) and a standard deviation of (0.57), with a rate of (37.5%). This was reflected in the Counterproductive behaviors that decreased in the departments, units, and departments in which the action research plan was implemented before implementation by (%5.31), where the reality of those behaviors after the implementation of the plan came in the weak direction with a mean (1.60) and a standard deviation (0.66) with a rate of (30%), while the reality of these behaviors before the implementation of the plan was in the average direction with a mean (1.87) and a standard deviation (0.73) with a rate of (43.5%). The research recommended the need to develop subsequent action research plans to raise the level of performance of administrative leaders for their role in reducing counterproductive behaviors in the university more.
