هدفت الدراسة التحقق من فاعلية الغرفة الحسية في زيادة الدافعية والتحصيل لدى طالبات صعوبات التعلم الأكاديمية في مدرسة بنات فيصل الحسيني الأساسية، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم تطبيق الدراسة على عينة بلغت (30) طالبة تم تقسيمها بطريقة متكافئة إلى مجموعتين: تجريبية (15) طالبة، وضابطة (15) طالبة، تم اختيارها بشكل عشوائي طبقي، وتم تطوير مقياس للدافعية مكون من أربع أبعاد و(32) فقرة وتطبيقه واستخدام الحقيبة الأكاديمية للغة العربية والرياضيات المعتمدة من وزارة التربية لقياس تحصيل الطالبات، وقد خضعت الطالبات في المجموعة التجريبية للغرفة الحسية بواقع (20) حصة تدريسية جماعية، وأشارت النتائج إلى فاعلية الغرفة الحسية في تنمية الدافعية والتحصيل الدراسي لدى طالبات المجموعة التجريبية، وعدم وجود فروق في الدافعية والتحصيل الدراسي يعزى لاختلاف الفئة الصفية، وبناء على نتائج الدراسة فقد خرجت الدراسة ببعض التوصيات ومنها: استخدام الغرفة الحسية لدى طالبات صعوبات التعلم الأكاديمية بغض النظر عن الصف الدراسي. The aim of the current research is to investigate the effectiveness of the sensory room in increasing the motivation and achievement of students with academic learning difficulties in Faisal Husseini Basic School for Girls. The sample of the research was comprised of (30) students, divided equally into two groups; namely, the experimental group which constitutes (15) students, and the control group which constitutes (15) female students, who were selected on the basis of stratified random sampling. The researcher developed a motivation scale consisting of four dimensions and (32) items. Moreover, she designed an achievement test to measure the motivation. It should be noted that the achievement test was approved by the Ministry of Education in the following sections; namely, reading, writing and arithmetic. The students in the experimental group of the sensory room were given (20) group teaching sessions. The results indicated that the sensory room is effective in developing the motivation and academic achievement of the members of the experimental group. Furthermore, the findings revealed that there are no differences in motivation and academic achievement among the different class groups. The study concludes with some recommendations; inter alia, the significance of the use of the sensory room for students with learning difficulties regardless of the class. (Published abstract)
