This research aims to examine the level of awareness of the elements of national heritage among primary school pupils in Jeddah. For this purpose, a descriptive method was used, together with a test of (3) elements of the national heritage namely, customs and traditions, traditional crafts, and folk dance. The test includes (30) items, distributed electronically to a random sample of (412) primary school pupils. The results showed that the pupils’ level of awareness of the national heritage elements as a whole was moderately rated, where the mean of the first element was (9.22), with a standard deviation of (3.84), and the mean of the second element was (4.78), with a standard deviation of (1.79), while the mean of the third element was (3.36) with a standard deviation of (1.31). The results also showed no statistically significant differences between the means of the National Heritage Test attributable to grade variable (fourth, fifth, sixth) for all test dimensions and the overall grade, with F test values ranging from (0.15 to 0.42), which are not statistically significant.
