قام الباحث في هذه الدراسة بالاعتماد على المواقع الإلكترونية للجامعات؛ لمعرفة عدد أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية، والرجوع إلى محرك البحث جوجل سكولار؛ بهدف معرفة الإنتاج البحثي لكل عضو هيئة تدريسية في مجال الرياضيات في جميع الجامعات الفلسطينية، هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف إلى واقع الإنتاج البحثي في مجال الرياضيات في الجامعات الفلسطينية. واتبع الباحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي. وتمثل مجتمع الدراسة بجميع أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية في قسم الرياضيات في جميع الجامعات الفلسطينية والبالغ عددهم (174) عضو هيئة تدريس. وتمثلت عينة الدراسة بجميع الأبحاث المنشورة لأعضاء الهيئة التدريسية في قسم الرياضيات في الجامعات الفلسطينية والمنشورة في محرك البحث جوجل سكولار، خلال الفترة من (2012 الى 2018). وقد أظهرت النتائج أن معدل الإنتاج البحثي لعضو الهيئة التدريسية من حملة مؤهل علمي دكتوراه (6.5) خلال فترة الدراسة والبالغة سبع سنوات، بواقع (0.93) سنويا؛ أي أن عضو الهيئة التدريسية لم يقم بنشر بحث واحد سنويا. وبناء على ذلك، أوصى الباحث بضرورة تشجيع البحث العلمي في الجامعات، وإلزام أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية بحد أدنى من الإنتاج البحثي السنوي، وضرورة تشكيل مجموعات بحثية محلية، وأخرى إقليمية لتبادل المعارف والمهارات البحثية. In this study, the researcher depended on the websites of various universities as well as the search engine (Google Scholar) to investigate the status of the research production of each Mathematics teaching staff -member of the Palestinian universities, the researcher used the descriptive and analytical approach ; the population of this study consisted of all Mathematics teaching staff- members with a sum of (174) member; the sample of this study consists of all research articles in the domain of Mathematics published on (Google Scholar) by the Mathematics teaching staff -members of the Palestinian universities within (2012-2018). Results of this study revealed that the average research production for the PhD. teaching staff-member is (6.5) during seven years, which represents the time span of this study; this means that the yearly average of research for each teaching staff-member is (.93); this also indicates that the teaching staff –member didn't publish one research each year. the average of research production mounted to (54.38) with a yearly average of (7.77). Accordingly, the researcher recommends that Palestinian universities must promote research, and that Palestinian universities should oblige their teaching staff-members with a minimum count of research article each year. The researcher also recommends that research groups, locally and regionally, should be set up so as to exchange skills, knowledge, and expertise in the field. (Published abstract)
