تهدف الدراسة للتعرف على الدور العملي للشباب الجامعي في معالجة قضايا الإعاقة. ومعرفة الدور المجتمعي للجامعات في ترسيخ الانتماء لدى الشباب للتصدي للمشكلات المتعلقة بالإعاقة. تتمثل مشكلة الدراسة في أهمية تعزيز الانتماء المجتمعي للشباب الجامعي تجاه تعليم ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة ودور الجامعات نحو ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة ومحددات وعوامل تدعيم الانتماء. اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي واستخدمت برنامج الحزم الإحصائية (SPSS) لتحليل عينة الدراسة. توصلت الدراسة إلى عدد من النتائج أهمها: دمج ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة في الجامعة يزيد من تكافؤ فرص التعليم لهم. وأوصت الدراسة بعدد من التوصيات أهمها: إقامة نشاطات وبرامج تتلاءم مع ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة داخل البيئة الجامعية. This study aims to identify the practical role of college students in tackling issues of disability and the social role of universities in deepening roots of loyalty in order to enable them to face problems associated to disability. The problem of the study is represented in importance of enhancing social loyalty of college students towards education of persons of special needs and the role of universities towards them, and determinants and factors of supporting loyalty. The study used and relied on the analytical descriptive method and Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) for analyzing sample of study. The study came up with a few findings such as: integration of persons of special needs at a university increases equivalence of educational opportunities for them. One of the most important recommendations of the study is to organize appropriate programs and activities for persons of special needs into the campus and vicinity of a university.
