هدفت الدراسة إلى معرفة أثر استخدام التعلم القائم على المشاريع على زيادة الدافعية وبقاء أثر التعلم عند الطالبات في مادة كيمياء 4 في ثانوية صفية بنت عبد المطلب بجدة. حيث استخدمت الباحثة المنهج شبه التجريبي، وتكون مجتمع الدراسة من جميع طالبات الصف الثالث ثانوي طبيعي بمكتب الجنوب بمحافظة جدة أما عينة البحث فتكونت من طالبات الصف الثالث ثانوي طبيعي من ثانوية صفية بنت عبد المطلب شعبة 3 وشعبة 5 والبالغ عددهم (50) طالبة تم تقسيمهن إلى مجموعتين متكافئتين إحداهما تجريبية مكونة من (25) طالبة والأخرى ضابطة مكونة من (25) طالبة. واستخدمت الباحثة الاختبار ومقياس الدافعية كأداة للبحث. وتوصلت الباحثة إلى فاعلية التعلم القائم على المشاريع في زيادة الدافعية وبقاء أثر التعلم عند الطالبات. وأوصت الدراسة باستخدام التعلم القائم على المشروعات في التدريس، كم أوصت بضرورة عقد ورش ودورات تدريبية للمعلمين والمعلمات حول التعلم القائم على المشاريع. The study aimed to find out the effect of using project-based learning on increasing motivation and maintaining the effect of learning for female students in Chemistry 4 at Safiya Bint Abdul Muttalib Secondary School in Jeddah. Where the researcher used the quasi-experimental approach, and the study population consisted of all the students of the third grade of natural secondary school in the South Office in Jeddah. It consists of (62) female students and the other is a control group of (62) female students. The researcher used the test and motivation scale as a research tool. The researcher found the effectiveness of project-based learning in increasing motivation and maintaining the impact of learning among students. The study recommended the use of project-based learning in teaching, as well as the necessity of holding workshops and training courses for male and female teachers on project-based learning.
