هدف هذا البحث إلى التعرف على دور قانون منع الجرائم للحد من الجريمة وتحولاتها في ظل جائحة كورونا من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس في جامعة مؤتة، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (294) عضو هيئة تدريس من جامعة مؤتة، وتم الاعتماد على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وباستخدام الاستبانة أداة لجمع البيانات فقد أظهرت النتائج أن مستوى تطبيق قانون منع الجرائم في ظل جائحة كورونا من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس في جامعة مؤتة جاء متوسطا، كما أظهرت النتائج وجود دور لقانون منع الجرائم بجميع مجالاته في الحد من الجريمة وتحولاتها في ظل جائحة كورونا. وبناء على نتائج البحث فقد أوصى الباحث بضرورة مراعاة الحريات الفردية وحرية التعبير، وألا تستخدم القوانين التي تضيق على الحريات إلا في بعض الحالات المحدودة جدا، وإجراء أبحاث على عينات أخرى. The aim of this research is to identify the role of the Crime Prevention Law to reduce crime and its transformations in light of the Corona pandemic from the point of view of the faculty members at Mutah University, and the study sample consisted of (294) faculty members from Mutah University, and it was relied on the descriptive analytical approach, and using the questionnaire is a data collection tool. The results showed that the level of application of the Crime Prevention Law in light of the Corona pandemic from the point of view of the faculty members at Mutah University was average, and the results also showed the existence of a role for the Crime Prevention Law in all its fields in reducing crime and its transformations in light of the Corona pandemic. Based on the results of the research, the researcher recommended the necessity of taking into account individual freedoms and freedom of expression, and that laws that restrict freedoms should not be used except in some very limited cases. and conduct research on other samples.
