هدفت هذه الدراسة التعرف الى دور المرشد التربوي في زيادة مستوى التحصيل الدراسي للطلبة في المدارس الحكومية. اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج (الوصفي التحليلي)، من خلال استخدام أسلوب المسح بالاستبانة (الورقية) و(الإلكترونية)، وقد تم تصميم الاستبانة لجمع بيانات الدراسة، من خلال توزيعها بشكل مباشر والإلكتروني على مدراء المدارس الثانوية في مدينة الكرك، للوصول الى أكبر عدد ممكن من مجتمع الدراسة. تكون مجتمع الدراسة من جميع مدراء المدارس الحكومية في محافظة الكرك، من العام الدراسي (2021-2020). تكونت عينة الدراسة من (127) مدير ومديرة، وتم اختيار عينة الدراسة بالطريقة العشوائية. قام الباحث بتطوير مقياس (استبانة) دراسة (الجمل، 2017) لقياس دور المرشد التربوي في زيادة مستوى التحصيل الدراسي للطلبة. وأشارت استنتاجات الدراسة إلى أن مستوى دور المرشد التربوي في زيادة مستوى التحصيل الدراسي للطلبة في المدارس الحكومية بمحافظة الكرك من وجهة نظر مدراء المدارس جاء بدرجة (متوسطة). وأن المرشد التربوي في المدارس الحكومية في الكرك بحاجة الى إعطائه المزيد من الصلاحيات التي تمكنه من متابعة العملية التعليمية للطلبة من كافة النواحي الدراسية والاجتماعية والنفسية ليتمكن من تحقيق رفع مستوى التحصيل لديهم. وأشارت أهم التوصيات إلى ضرورة إجراء دراسات مشابهة، تتمثل بدراسات مقارنة بين دور المرشد التربوي في المدارس (الخاصة) والمدارس (الحكومية). This study aimed at identifying the role of educational counselors in promoting the level of academic achievement among the students of public schools. The study used the analytical descriptive approach based on the survey method using the paper and electronic questionnaire. The questionnaire was used to collect data by distributing by hand and electronically to the managers of secondary schools in AlKarak in order to reach as many individuals as possible from the study population. The study population consisted of all the managers of public secondary schools in Al-Karak governorate during the academic year (2020-2021). The study sample consisted of (127) male and female managers who were chosen randomly. The researcher developed the questionnaire used in (Al-Jamal, 2017) to measure the role of the educational counselor in promoting the students' academic achievement. The results revealed that the level to which educational counselors contributed to promoting the students' academic achievement in Al-Karak governorate from the perspective of school managers was medium. The results revealed that the educational counselor in public schools in Al-Karak governorate should be provided with more authority to pursue his educational mission towards the students from all the academic, social and psychological domains in order to promote the level of the students' academic achievement. In the light of the results, the study recommended the necessity of conducting similar studies that compare the role of the educational counselor in public and private schools. (Published abstract)
