يهدف البحث الحالي إلى الكشف عن أهم المشكلات التي تواجه معلمي العلوم لصفوف الحلقة الثالثة (7-9) من مرحلة التعليم الأساسي في ساحل حضرموت والتعرف على وجهات نظرهم حول هذه المشكلات وفقا لمتغيرات (الجنس، المؤهل، وسنوات العمل). استخدم الباحثان المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، والاستبانة أداة للبحث والتي تضمنت خمسة محاور للمشكلات المتعلقة بكل من التلاميذ والمعلم والمنهج والبيئة التعليمية والإدارة التربوية. تكونت عينة البحث من (144) معلما ومعلمة للعلوم من المدارس الأساسية بساحل حضرموت، وأظهرت النتائج أن أهم المشكلات التي تواجه المعلمين هي: ازدحام التلاميذ في الصف الواحد، وكثرة الأعباء الأخرى الملقاة على عاتق معلم العلوم، وتوزيع كتب العلوم للتلاميذ بطبعات عديدة، ومختلفة في بعض أجزائها للصف الواحد، ونقص المواد والأجهزة المختبرية اللازمة لتنفيذ الأنشطة المقررة، وضعف إرشاد المعلمين في الجوانب الفنية. كما أكدت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (α = 0.05) بين وجهات نظر المعلمين حول المشكلات التي يواجهونها تعزى إلى متغير الجنس أو المؤهل أو سنوات العمل. The current research aims to reveal the most important problems facing science teachers for grade three (7- 9) classes of the basic education stage in Hadramout coast and to recognize their different views on these problems according to their gender, qualifications and experience. The researchers used the descriptive and analytical method, and the questionnaire as a research tool. The research sample included (144) science teachers from basic schools in Hadramout coast .The results showed that the most important problems facing teachers is the overcrowding of students in the classrooms, the many burdens placed on the science teacher’s shoulders, the distribution of science books in different editions with some variable subjects in a single class, the lack of materials and equipment necessary to perform the prescribed activities and the weak of teachers guidance in the artistic aspects. The results also confirmed that there are no statistically significant differences at the level of (α = 0.05) between teachers ’views about the problems they face due to the gender, qualification and years of work.
