هدف البحث إلى معرفة مستوى التفكير الهندسي لدى طلبة مجال الرياضيات بكلية التربية - جامعة تعز، وتكونت عينة البحث من (154) طالباً وطالبة من المستويات الأربعة في قسم مجال الرياضيات خلال الفصل الدراسي الثاني من العام الدراسي 2018- 2019م، ولتحقيق هدف البحث والإجابة عن أسئلته أعد الباحثان مقياس للتفكير الهندسي وفقاً لنموذج فان هيل (Van Hiele)، تكون من (23) فقرة من نوع الاختيار من متعدد ذي الأربع بدائل موزعةً على ثلاثة مستويات هي المستوى: (البصري – التحليلي – شبه الاستدلالي)، وتم التأكد من صدقه وثباته، وتم معالجة البيانات إحصائياً بعد التطبيق باستخدام البرنامج الإحصائي SPSS. وأظهرت النتائج أن المتوسط الحسابي الكلي لأداء الطلبة على مقياس التفكير الهندسي متدن وهو أقل من المتوسط الافتراضي للدرجة الكلية. كما أظهرت النتائج وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً عند مستوى دلالة (α = 0.05) في مستوى التفكير الهندسي لدى طلبة مجال الرياضيات بكلية التربية - جامعة تعز، تعزى لمتغير المستوى الدراسي (الأول - الثاني - الثالث – الرابع) لصالح المستوى الثالث، وفي ضوء النتائج قدم الباحثان عدد من التوصيات والمقترحات. This study aimed to know the level geometric thinking among the students of Basic Mathematics Faculty of Education – Taiz University. The study sample consisted of (154) students from the four levels in the department basic Mathematics during the second semester of the academic year 2018- 2019. To achieve the aims of the study and answer its questions, the researchers prepared a scale of geometric thinking according to the Van Hiele model, composed of (23) items of the multiple- choice type with four alternatives. It is divided into three levels: (visualization - analysis - ordering). The data were statistically by using the statistical program (SPSS) .The study comes out with the following most prominent finding: The total average of the students ’performance on the testing of geometric thinking was less than the supposed average of the total degree .And there are statistically significant differences at (α = 0.05) in the level of geometric thinking among students of the Basic Department of Mathematics in the Faculty of Education - Taiz University, related to the of the academic level variable (I -II - III - IV) in favor of the third level. Based on these results, the researchers concluded a number of recommendations. (Published abstract)
