This study aimed to identify the level of mothers' application of sexual education; To protect their children from gender identity disorder, and to reveal the relationship between the level of mothers' application of sexual education, and symptoms of gender identity disorder in children. The researcher used the descriptive analytical approach, and the correlational approach, and designed a questionnaire that included two dimensions (the level of mothers' application of sexual education, the level of symptoms of gender identity disorder). The study population consisted of all mothers of children in early childhood schools in Riyadh, whose number is (28.526). As for the study sample, it consisted of a simple random sample of (340) research individuals from mothers of children in early childhood schools in Riyadh. Among the most important results: the mothers' application of sexual education to protect their children from gender identity disorder appears at a high level, and in contrast, symptoms of gender identity disorder appear in children at a low level, The results also showed the existence of a negative, statistically significant correlation between the level of mothers' application of sexual education, and the appearance of symptoms of gender identity disorder , Based on these results, the study recommended the following : holding educational sessions for mothers; To raise their awareness of the importance of providing sexual knowledge to their children from an early age, As well as designing and producing videos on sexual knowledge that help mothers introduce sexual knowledge to their children without embarrassment.
