هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن مدى مطابقة فقرات الاختيار من متعدد في تمارين كتب الرياضيات في الأردن والمقرر تدريسها منذ بداية العام الدراسي 2017/2018 لقواعد صياغة الفقرة، وقد تشكلت عينة الدراسة من 348 فقرة اشتملت عليها الكتب المستهدفة؛ وذلك باستخدام 18 قاعدة للكشف عن مخالفة الفقرة لقواعد صياغتها. وأظهرت النتائج أنّ 302 فقرة أي ما نسبته 86.6% تضمنت مخالفة واحدة، و28 فقرة أي ما نسبته 8% تضمنت مخالفتين، و(8) فقرات أي ما نسبته 2.3% تضمنت ثلاث مخالفات، بينما وجد أن 10 فقرات أي ما نسبته 2.9% لم تتضمن أي مخالفة. وتبين أنَّ أكثر القواعد انتهاكا كانت: "ترتيب البدائل عموديا" بنسبة 95.1% و"البدائل متسقة في طولها" بنسبة 7.5% وتراوحت نسبة انتهاك أربع قواعد بين 0.86% إلى 2.6% في حين حافظت الفقرات على عدم انتهاك 12 قاعدة. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى الاستنتاج بأنّ تمارين كتب الرياضيات في الأردن، بشكل عام، تراعي قواعد صياغة فقرة الاختيار من متعدد، وأوصى الباحث بتغيير تعليمات كتابة فقرة الاختيار من متعدد من مستوى الاسترشاد إلى مستوى الالتزام. The purpose of this study is to detect conformity of the multiple-choice items in mathematics books exercises in Jordan which are to be taught since the beginning of the school year 2017/2018 with item writing rules. The study sample consisted of 348 items contained in the target textbooks for multiple-choice item writing rules. The items were reviewed and evaluated against 18 frequently occurring item-writing flaws. The results showed that 302 (86.6%) of the items contained one violation; 28 (8%) of the items contained two violations, and 8 (2.3%) of the items contained three violations, while 10 items (2.9%) did not contain any violation. Also, the results showed that the most frequent violations were "sorting options vertically" (95.1%), and "options are homogeneous in length" (7.5%). In addition, the percentage of the violation for four rules ranged from 0.86% to 2.6% while twelve rules were not violated. The study concluded that mathematics books exercises in Jordan, in general, take into account the multiple-choice item writing rules. The researcher, thus, recommended that the item writing rules should be changed from giving instructions into compulsory commitment. (Published abstract)
