يتناول البحث طبيعة تأثير طرق النقل البري في تحديد وتوزيع استخدامات الأراضي التعليمية في محافظة النجف الأشرف من خلال وصف الخصائص المتداخلة لطرق النقل البري وبين هذه الاستخدامات وتحليلها وفق الطريقة المكانية لتحديد كل منها فعالية. وهذا سيساهم في إعادة التوزيع بالشكل المكاني الصحيح ومدى ملاءمته. مع التحضر والكثافة السكانية. ومن أهم نتائج البحث : وجود علاقة بين طرق النقل البري واستخدامات الأراضي التعليمية، إذ كان لطرق النقل البري أثر واضح في ظهور استخدامات الأراضي التعليمية وتوزيعها مكانياً وظهر ذلك من خلال امتداد معظم المدارس والجامعات على خطوط النقل البري المرصوفة؛ في حين أدى استخدام الأراضي التعليمية إلى زيادة كفاءة النقل البري من خلال استمرارية وفعالية معدلات الحركة؛ استخدام الأراضي التعليمية في المحافظة لأنواع الطرق المختلفة والتي تمثل نسبة ضئيلة جداً (4.76%)، وهذا يدل على وجود عجز واضح في إيصال خدمات النقل البري لاستخدامات الأراضي التعليمية.
