هدف البحث دراسة واقع التنمية المهنية لمعلمات رياض الأطفال في مصر وما يتلقونه من دورات تنمية مهنية داخل المؤسسات المعنية بالتنمية المهنية، ومدى مناسبة تلك البرامج لاحتياجات المعلمة وتأثيرها على سد تلك الاحتياجات ومدى تطبيق نظريات التنمية المهنية وشروط جودة برامج التنمية المهنية في الواقع. خلصت الدراسة إلى النتائج التالية: يحتل الجانب الشكلي لبرامج التنمية المهنية المتعلق ببيانات البرنامج النصيب الأكبر من اهتمام مقدمي الخدمة فهو أقل الجوانب قصورا. أما جانب المحتوى العلمي والنظريات العلمية فهما يعانيان من إهمال معدي ومقدمي تلك البرامج ويحتاج إلى الكثير من الاهتمام وتقنين معايير الجودة. This study examined the reality of the professional development of kindergarten teachers in Egypt and the professional development courses they receive within the institutions concerned with professional development, the extent to which these programs meet the needs of the teacher and their impact on meeting these needs and the extent of application of theories of professional development and the quality of professional development programs. To the following results the formal aspect of the professional development programs related to the program's profiles is the biggest part of the service providers' attention. It is the least of the aspects. The scientific content and scientific theories are neglected due to the negligence of the authors and the providers of these programs. It requires a lot of attention and standardization of quality standards. (Published abstract)
