هدفت الدراسة للتعرف على الأدوار المستقبلية لمديري ومديرات المدارس في ضوء التوجه نحو مجتمع المعرفة من وجهة نظر مديري ومديرات المدارس في ظهران الجنوب ولتحقيق اهداف الدراسة استخدمت الباحث المنهج الوصفي من خلال تطبيق استبانة مكونة (22) فقرة حيث وزعت الفقرات على بعدين محاور: بناء مجتمع المعرفة، وتكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصال. كما استخدم الباحث أسلوب العينة الميسرة من خلال تحويل الاستبانة الى رابط الكتروني وتعميمه على أفراد مجتمع الدراسة وبلغ عدد المستجيبين (82) مدير ومديرة وبنسبة 79.6 % من مجتمع الدراسة البالغ عددهم (103). وتوصلت نتائج الدراسة الى ان الأدوار المستقبلية لمديري ومديرات المدارس في ضوء التوجه نحو مجتمع المعرفة في البعد الأول: بناء مجتمع المعرفة جاء بدرجة كبيرة جدا. كما أظهرت النتائج أن الأدوار المستقبلية لمديري ومديرات المدارس في ضوء التوجه نحو مجتمع المعرفة في البعد الثاني: تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصال جاء بدرجة كبيرة جدا. كما اظهرت نتائج الدراسة كذلك عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة (0.05) للأدوار المستقبلية لمديري ومديرات المدارس في ضوء التوجه نحو مجتمع المعرفة من وجهة نظر مديري ومديرات تعزى لمتغيرات النوع (ذكر، أنثى)، والخبرة. The study aimed to identify the future roles of school principals in light of the trend towards a knowledge society from the point of view of school principals in Dhahran Al-Janoub. And information and communication technology. The researcher also used the easy sampling method by converting the questionnaire into an electronic link and circulating it to the members of the study community, and the number of respondents was (82) male and female managers, and at a rate of (79.6%) of the study population of (103). The results of the study concluded that the future roles of school principals in light of the orientation towards the knowledge society in the first dimension: building the knowledge society came to a very large degree, and the results also showed that the future roles of school principals in light of the orientation towards the knowledge society in the second dimension: information and communication technology It came very much. The results of the study also showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) for the future roles of school principals in the light of the trend towards a knowledge society from the point of view of principals due to gender variables (male, female), and experience. Recommended study to facilitate executive procedures and regulations in schools, finding creative and innovative ways to take advantage of the technological capabilities available in schools, as well as making use of social networking sites to spread knowledge inside and outside schools.
