The research aims to identify: the functional components of football commentators in the Arab Republic of Egypt from the point of view of specialists in sports media, and the researcher used the descriptive method in the survey method, and the study was conducted on a sample consisting of (50) experts from experts in sports media in Egypt, and the study resulted in that a football commentator obtains a high qualification is a prerequisite and that practicing football has an advantage. It is preferable to play the game at the level (First Division or Premier League). It is essential for him to have postgraduate studies, but if he gets it is good, he must be fluent in at least one language, be familiar with the minimum computer use, and be familiar with information about various fields (sports / political / artistic / historical and others). Football commentator (sense of humor I self-control / self-confidence / emotional fortitude / quick wit / focus) and also enjoys a minimum of acceptance and good looks. (Published abstract)
