تهدف الدراسة الحالية إلى الكشف عن طبيعة العلاقة بين الذكاء العاطفي والتوافق المهني لدى معلمي التعليم الإبتدائي بولاية المسيلة، وكذا معرفة الفروق بين الجنسين في كل من الذكاء العاطفي والتوافق المهني لدى أفراد عينة الدراسة، ولتحقيق ذلك قمنا بتطبيق مقياس الذكاء العاطفي إعداد فاروق السيد عثمان ومحمد عبد السميع رزق (2001)، ومقياس التوافق المهني من إعداد الباحث على عينة قوامها (198) معلم ومعلمة تم إختيارها بطريقة عشوائية، وانطلاقا من طبيعة الدراسة تم الإعتماد على المنهج الوصفي. وبعد المعالجة الإحصائية، توصلت الدراسة إلى وجود علاقة إرتباطية ذات دلالة إحصائية بين كل من الذكاء العاطفي والتوافق المهني لدى معلمي التعليم الإبتدائي بولاية المسيلة، كما توصلت إلى عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة احصائية بين الجنسين في كل من الذكاء العاطفي والتوافق المهني. This study aims to explore the relationship between emotional intelligence and the career compatibility of teachers at primary school in M’sila province. The research paper seeks also to investigate the differences among male and female participants in terms of emotional intelligence and career compatibility. To achieve research objectives, two research instruments were used: Emotional Intelligence Scale prepared by Farouk El-Sayed Othman and Mohamad Abdel-Samie Rizk (2001) and Career Compatibility Scale designed by the researcher. To test the validity and reliability of the research tools, the scales were applied to a survey sample consisting of (40) female and male primary school teachers. The sample of the main study originally contained one hundred and ninety-eight (198) male and female teachers. They represented thirty percent 30℅ of the target population chosen in a simple and random way: fifty-nine (59) of them were male teachers and one hundred and thirty-nine (139) were female teachers. Due to the nature of the objectives of the current study which attempted to find out the relationship between emotional intelligence and carrier compatibility in primary school teachers, and because of the nature of the questions the study seeks to answer, the researcher adopted the descriptive approach. The findings have shown that there is a statistically correlational relationship between emotional intelligence and career compatibility among teachers at primary school at M’sila. That is, the most professionally compatible teachers have more capacity to Social adjustment and socializing. The results have also reported that there is no statistically significant difference among the two genders in terms of emotional intelligence and career compatibility. (Published abstract)
