The effect of parental treatment methods as perceived by children on the emergence of school stress among schooled adolescents :a field study in Tizi Ouzou province [Article]
The present study aims to know the relationship between the methods of parental treatment as perceived by the children, and school pressure among adolescents, and to reach the differences between the sexes (males/ females) with regard to the variable of parental treatment methods, as well as studying the differences between educational levels with regard to school pressure, so the study was completed on a sample of 64 schooled adolescents of both sexes and of different ages, which were deliberately chosen, and the tool used in this study is the scale of "Parental Treatment Methods" and the "School Pressure" scale. Several statistical methods have been relied upon (The arithmetic mean, Standard deviation, The test of differences "T-test", multiple comparaisons "Tuckey") to process the data. So that the following results were reached: 1) There is a statistically significant relationship between the methods of parental treatment and school pressure among schooled adolescents. 2) There are statistically significant differences between schooled adolescents with regard to methods of parental treatment, which are attributed to the variable of sex. 3) There are statistically significant differences between schoolteachers with regard to school pressure, which is attributed to the variable of academic achievement levels.
