هدف الدراسة التعرف إلى الممارسات التسلطية المعيقة للتربية المدنية في مدارس مدينة مأرب، وأثر متغيرات الدراسة. استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي، وأداة الاستبانة، بلغت العينة (252) معلماً ومعلمة. توصلت الدراسة إلى: الموافقة المتوسطة للممارسات التسلطية في المجالات إجمالًا، وبمتوسط (3.19) مع تفاوت تلك الموافقة من مجال لآخر، حيث تصدر مجال الفعاليات المدرسية تلك المجالات، وبمتوسط (3.55) واحتل مجال علاقة المدرس بطلبته المرتبة الثانية، بمتوسط (3.06) وفي المرتبة الأخيرة جاء مجال علاقة الإدارة المدرسية بمنتسبيها، وبمتوسط (2.97). أظهرت الدراسة وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند قيمة (0.05) تبعاً لمتغير نوع المدرسة ولصالح المدارس الحكومية، وسنوات الخبرة، ولصالح من كانت خبرتهم أكثر من عشر سنوات. بينما لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة تبعا لمتغير الجنس عند قيمة دلالة (0.25). The study aimed to identify the authoritarian practices that hinder civic education in Marib city schools, and the impact of the study variables. The researcher used the descriptive approach and the questionnaire tool. The sample was (252) male and female teachers. The study found: Moderate approval of authoritarian practices in the domains as a whole, with an average of (3.19), with that approval varying from one domain to another, as the field of school activities topped those domains, with an average (3.55) The field of teacher-student relationship ranked second. With an average of (3.06), and in the last place came the field of the school administration’s relationship with its employees, with an average of (2.97). The study showed that there were statistically significant differences at the value of (0.05) according to the school type variable in favor of government schools and years of experience, and in favor of those with more than ten years of experience. While there are no significant differences according to the gender variable at significance value of (0.25). (Published abstract)
