The research aims to uncover the attitudes of parents towards their blind children, and their relationship to selfesteem, and the research was conducted on a sample of (50) blind children, At Al-Nour School for the Blind, Fayoum Governorate and two measures were used: the Cooper Smith self-esteem scale, and the parent attitudes toward blind children scale (prepared by the researcher). The results are shown: 1) There is a correlation between self-esteem and the attitudes of parents towards their blind children. 2) There is a correlation between self-esteem and the negative attitudes of parents towards their blind children.
