This research illustrate advances in computer accessibility over the past few decades, and what we have resulted in many computing devices and applications that are accessible to blind and visually impaired individuals. However, computer programming tools still present significant accessibility challenges to blind people, and blind people are currently underrepresented in computer science. (Published abstract)
