هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى درجة ممارسة عمليات إدارة المعرفة في الجامعات الفلسطينية وعلاقتها بتحقيق الميزة التنافسية. لتحقيق أهداف الدراسة استخدمت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي بالاعتماد على استبانتين الأولى لقياس درجة ممارسة عمليات إدارة المعرفة في الجامعات الفلسطينية، والثانية لقياس مستوى تحقيق الميزة التنافسية لديها. تكون مجتمع الدراسة من الأكاديميين الإداريين والإداريين بالجامعة الإسلامية وجامعة الأقصى في قطاع غزة، البالغ عددهم (957) موظف، وقد استخدمت الباحثة أسلوب العينة العشوائية، حيث تم توزيع (274) استبانة، وبلغ عدد الاستبانات المستردة (222) استبانة، أي أن نسبة الاستجابة (81%). وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى عدة نتائج أهمها: 1) درجة ممارسة الأكاديميين الإداريين والإداريين لعمليات إدارة المعرفة في الجامعات الفلسطينية كانت كبيرة بوزن نسبى (74.6%). 2) مستوى تحقيق الميزة التنافسية بالجامعات الفلسطينية من وجهة نظر الأكاديميين الإداريين والإداريين كانت بدرجة كبيرة أي بوزن نسبي (71.7%). 3) توجد علاقة ارتباطية إيجابية ذات دلالة إحصائية بين درجة ممارسة الأكاديميين الإداريين والإداريين بالجامعات الفلسطينية لعمليات إدارة المعرفة وبين مستوى تحقيق الميزة التنافسية لديها. وبناء على نتائج الدراسة أوصت الباحثة بالآتي: 1) تدريب العاملين بالجامعات الفلسطينية على الطرق والأليات الحديثة في توليد المعرفة وتخزينها وتطبيقها. 2) ضرورة تبني استراتيجية لإدارة المعرفة، وتوفير كافة المستلزمات الإدارية والبشرية والتكنولوجية والفنية التي تسهم في تطوير عمليات إدارة المعرفة (تشخيص، وتوليد، وتخزين، وتوزيع، وتطبيق المعرفة) في الجامعات الفلسطينية؛ وذلك للاستفادة من الفوائد التي تحققها إدارة المعرفة في الجامعات، ولما تلعبه من دور في تحقيق الميزة التنافسية كما بينته نتائج الدراسة. 3) توفير بيئة عمل مشجعة ومحفزة للعاملين في الجامعات الفلسطينية على الإبداع والابتكار. This study aimed at identifying the practicing degree of knowledge management processes in the Palestinian universities and its relation with achieving a competitive advantage. To carry out the study objectives, the researcher adopted the descriptive-analytical approach by designing two questionnaires. The first one was to measure the practicing degree of knowledge management processes in the Palestinian universities while the second one was to measure the achievement level of the competitive advantage in the investigated universities. The study population consisted of all academic administrators and appointed administrators in both the Islamic University of Gaza and Al-Aqsa University in the Gaza Strip totaling (957) employees. The researcher used random sampling method where (274) questionnaires were distributed and (222) questionnaires were retrieved representing (81%) response rate. The most important results of the study concluded were as follows: 1) The practicing degree of knowledge management processes by academic administrators and appointed administrators in the investigated Palestinian universities was high with a relative weight (74.6%). 2) The achievement level of the competitive advantage in the investigated universities from the viewpoint of academic administrators and appointed administrators was also high with a relative weight (71.7%). 3) There were a statistically significant and correlative relationship between the practicing degree of knowledge management processes by academic administrators and appointed administrators in the investigated Palestinian universities, from one hand, and the achievement level of the competitive advantage in these universities, from the other hand. Based on the study results, the researcher recommends the following: 1) Employees of the Palestinian universities should be trained on using modern methods and techniques in generating, storing, and implementing knowledge. 2) It is necessary to adopt knowledge management strategy and provide all necessary administrative, human, technological and technical requirements that contribute to developing the processes of knowledge management. This can be beneficial at many levels as knowledge management plays a significant role in achieving competitive advantage as shown by the study results. 3) It is also necessary to provide an encouraging and motivating work environment able to trigger creativity and innovation among employees in the Palestinian universities.
