هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن العلاقة بين مستويات كلّ من الضغوط النفسية والصحة النفسية لدى عينة من معلمي محافظة الظاهرة في سلطنة عمان. تكونت عينة الدراسة من (400) معلما ومعلمة من محافظة الظاهرة. استخدمت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي، وللإجابة عن أسئلة الدراسة استخدمت الباحثة مقياسين: الأول مقياس الضغوط النفسية (عسيري، 1433)، والثاني مقياس الصحة النفسية (إعداد عبد الخالق، 2016). أظهرت النتائج أن مستوى الضغوط النفسية لدى معلمي محافظة الظاهرة جاء بمستوى متوسط، وأظهرت النتائج وجود مستوى مرتفع في مستوى الصحة النفسية لدى أفراد العينة، كما أظهرت الدراسة وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين الذكور والإناث في الصحة النفسية لصالح الذكور، وكذلك عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين الضغوط والصحة النفسية تعزى لمتغير سنوات الخبرة. وخلصت الدراسة إلى أنه يمكن التنبؤ بالصحة النفسية من خلال الضغوط النفسية لدى عينة من معلمي محافظة الظاهرة. أخيرا في ضوء مناقشة النتائج توصلت الباحثة إلى مجموعة من التوصيات. This study aimed at revealing the relationship of the levels of psychological stress and mental health among the study population among schoolteachers in Al Dhahirah Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman in the light of sex and years of experience variables. The study population consisted of 400 male and female teachers in Al Dhahirah Governorate. The researcher used the descriptive approach in this study and used two measurement tools to analyze the research questions. First was the psychological Stress Scale prepared by researcher Esseri (1433). Second was mental health Scale prepared by Abdulkhalek (2016). The study outcome showed that level of the psychological stress was moderate among schoolteachers in Al Dhahirah Governorate and the mathematical averages for mental health were high. The study had also shown statistical differences between males and females for males. It also did not show any valuable statistical differences between psychological stress and mental health because of the variable of years of experience. It concluded that that mental health could be predicted from the psychological stress for the study population of teachers in Al Dhahirah Governorate. Finally, the researcher came out of some recommendations based on the data analysis. (Published abstract)
