هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرف على الأسس النظرية لإدارة التميز ومتطلباتها ونماذجها، مع التركيز على نموذج المؤسسة الأوروبية لإدارة الجودة للتميز في التعليم العالي. وفي سبيل تحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي. وتوصلت دراسة واقع توفر عناصر إدارة التميز بالجامعة المنيا على ضوء نموذج المؤسسة الأوربية لإدارة الجودة والتميز. إلى عدة نتائج أهمها: أن أعضاء هيئة التدريس بجامعة المنيا يرون أن بعد الإستراتيجية، يتحقق بدرجة عالية، بينما بعدي القيادة، نتائج المستفيدين فقد تحققاً بدرجة متوسطة، في حين أن بقية الأبعاد وهي بعد إدارة الموارد البشرية، بعد الطلاب والخرجين، وبعد إدارة العمليات، بعد البحث العلمي تحققوا بدرجة منخفضة. لذا تقترح الباحثة مجموعة من المتطلبات تطبيق معايير نموذج المؤسسة الأوروبية لإدارة الجودة للتميز بجامعة المنيا. The present study aimed to identify the theoretical bases of excellence management, its requirements and models, as well as identify the models of excellence management, especially the model of the European Foundation for Quality Management for excellence in higher education. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive analytical method was used. The study of the availability of the elements of excellence management at Minia University in light of the model of the European foundation for quality management, has revealed a set of results, including: faculty members of Minia University view that the strategy dimension is achieved by a high degree, whereas the dimensions of leadership and stakeholders results are achieved by a medium degree, while the dimensions of human resources management, students and graduates, processes management, and scientific research are achieved by low degree. Therefore, the researcher proposes a set of requirements for applying the standards of the model of the European foundation for quality management for excellence at Minia University.
