هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على واقع استخدام معلمي الفيزياء في المرحلة الثانوية لأساليب التقويم البديل في محافظة محايل عسير. استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي المسحي، واستخدم الاستبانة كأداة للدراسة، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (28) معلم. وتم التوصل إلى نتائج إيجابية وهي ضرورة التركيز على الأفكار الرئيسية للدرس حتى يتم التمكن من التقويم، وأهمية التقويم البديل للمتعلم، والاهتمام بمشاركة المتعلم في التجارب العملية (المخبرية)، فيما كانت النتائج المعيقة هي تأييد أغلبية المعلمين أن هذا النوع من التقويم يزيد الأعباء الملقاة على المعلم، وأن هذا النوع من التقويم يحتاج إلى إمكانيات مادية. وقد أوصى الباحث بقيام وزارة التعليم بإعداد أدلة للمعلمين تتضمن أساليب التقويم البديل وأدواته. The study aimed to identify the reality of using of physics teachers in secondary phase for alternative evaluation methods in Mohail Province - Assir. The researcher used the surveying descriptive methodology, and the questionnaire as a study tool, the sample consisted of (28) teacher. The study reached to positive results which are to concentrate on the main ideas for the study so as to be able of evaluation and the importance of alternative evaluation for the learner, taking care of participation of the learner in scientific experiments, where the deterred results were supporting of majority of teachers that this type of evaluation increases the burdens that given to the teacher and this type of evaluation requires financial possibilities. The researcher has recommended that the Ministry of Education would prepare guides for teachers that including the alternative evaluation methods and its tools. (Published abstract)
