هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على الذكاء الوجداني وعلاقته ببعض المشكلات الشخصية لدى طالبات المرحلة الثانوية. تكونت عينة الدراسة من (120) طالبة من طالبات الصف الثاني الثانوي في المرحلة العمرية من (16-18) سنة، بمتوسط عمري (17.1) سنة وانحراف معياري (0.779). استخدمت الدراسة مقياس الذكاء الوجداني (إعداد بار-أون، 1997؛ ترجمة صفاء الأعسر، 1998) ومقياس المشكلات الشخصية لدى طالبات المرحلة الثانوية (إعداد الباحثين) للتحقق من فروض الدراسة الحالية. أسفرت الدراسة عن انتشار المشكلات الشخصية لدى طالبات المرحلة الثانوية، أيضا وجود علاقة سالبة ودالة بين درجات الطالبات أفراد العينة الوصفية في أبعاد الذكاء الوجداني ودرجاتهن في المشكلات الشخصية على المقاييس المستخدمة في هذه الدراسة عدا بعد الحالة المزاجية، أي أنه كلما ارتفعت درجة الذكاء الوجداني لدى أفراد عينة الدراسة كلما قلت المشكلات الشخصية لديهن. The study aims to identify emotional intelligence and its relationship with some personal problems among secondary school students, where the sample of the study consisted of (120) second grade secondary school students in the age group (16-18) years, with an average age (17.1) years and standard deviation. The study used the emotional intelligence scale (preparation by Bar-On, 1997, translation by Safaa Elaasar, 1998) and the personal problems scale of secondary school students (preparation by researchers), to verify the current study hypotheses. The study resulted in the prevalence of personal problems among secondary school students. There was also a negative and significant relationship between the students' descriptive scores in the dimensions of emotional intelligence and their scores in the personal problems on the scales used in this study except after the mood.
