هدف البحث إلى توعية الطلاب بحقوقهم الأكاديمية والخدمية التي تقدمها لهم الجامعة. ونشر الوعي بالضمانات التي يوفرها القضاء للحقوق الفردية والتعرف على حقوق وواجبات الطالب الجامعي والجزاءات التي من الممكن توقيعها على الطالب الجامعي من قبل الجامعة في حالة وقوع المخالفة. وتوصل البحث إلى اهتمام الجامعات السعودية بجانب مهم من جوانب الجودة في التعليم الجامعي وهو الحقوق والواجبات الطلابية. وأوصى البحث بنشر الوعي بالضمانات التي يوفرها القضاء للطالب الجامعي ونشر الوعي عن طريق الندوات واللقاءات والمحاضرات. كما أوصى بالتعرض بالبحث العلمي للمسائل ذات الصلة بالحقوق والواجبات الطلابية. The aim of the research is to educate students about their academic and service rights that are provided to them by the university, in addition to getting them aware of the guarantees provided by the judiciary to individual rights. Also being aware of the rights and duties of the university students and the penalties that can be signed on the student by the university in case of violation. The research concluded that of Saudi universities are interested in an important aspect of quality aspects in the university education; that is the students' rights and duties. The research recommended disseminating awareness of the guarantees provided by the judiciary to the university student and spreading awareness through seminars, meetings and lectures. The research also recommended that the scientific research has to take issues related to student rights and duties into consideration. (Published abstract)
