هدف البحث إلى تنمية بعض مهارات القرن الحادي والعشرون لدى طالبات الصف الأول المتوسط وذلك من خلال تطوير منهج الرياضيات الخاص بهم، وتوصل البحث الى قائمه من المهارات يجب تضمينها في مناهج الرياضيات، وأعد المنهج المطور في ضوء هذه المهارات ودليل للمعلم، واستخدم المنهج شبه التجريبي ذو المجموعتين. وتكونت مجموعة البحث من مجموعه ضابطة (30) وتجريبية (30)، وأعد اختبار لقياس مهارات القرن الحادي والعشرون وتقنينه. وأشارت النتائج بوجود فرق دال إحصائيا بين متوسطي درجة اختبار مهارات القرن الحادي والعشرون في التطبيق البعدي لصالح المجموعة التجريبية في كل مهارة والدرجة الكلية، كما وجد فاعلية للوحدة المطورة. وجاءت بعض التوصيات في إعادة النظر في أهداف تعليم الرياضيات واستراتيجيات تدريسها وتطوير المحتوى في ضوء نتائج البحث. The research aims to develop some of the skills of the twenty-first century among female students of the first intermediate grade through the development of their mathematics curriculum. The research reached a list of skills that must be included in the mathematics curriculum. The curriculum was developed and a guide for the teacher was prepared in light of these skills. The research group consisted of a control group (30) female students and an experimental group (30) female student. The test was prepared to measure the development of skills of the twenty-first century. The results indicated a statistically significant difference between the average score of the twenty-first-century skills test in the post-application in favor of the experimental group in each skill and the overall score. It also found the effectiveness for the unit development. Some recommendations came in reviewing the objectives of mathematics education and strategies for teaching it and developing content in light of the research results. (Published abstract)
