هدفت الدراسة إلى تقويم محتوى منهج العلوم للصف الثالث الإعدادي في ضوء مهارات التفكير المستقبلي، وتكونت عينة البحث من جميع الموضوعات الواردة في الكتاب المقرر للعام الدراسي 2017/2018 للفصلين الدراسيين الأول والثاني، واقتصرت عملية التحليل على كتاب التلميذ دون دليل المعلم، واستخدم المنهج الوصفي. وتوصلت النتائج إلى أن محتوى كتاب العلوم للصف الثالث الإعدادي قد تضمن ثلاثة مجالات فقط لمهارات التفكير المستقبلي من أربعة مجالات وذلك بنسب مختلفة حيث حصل فيه مجال مهارات التنبؤ على الترتيب الأول بنسبة 56.23% يليه مجال مهارات التوقع بنسبة 31.31% وحصل مجال مهارات التصور على الترتيب الثالث بنسبة 12.46%، بينما مجال مهارات حل المشكلات المستقبلية غير متضمن بكتاب العلوم للصف الثالث الإعدادي. The study aimed to evaluate the content of the third preparatory year science curriculum in light of the skills of the future thinking. The research sample included all the topics mentioned in the science course book for the academic year 2017/2018 for the first and second semesters. Analyzing the curriculum was delimited to the student's book without the teacher's guide. The research is descriptive using an instrument for content analysis. The results showed that content of the science book included only three areas of future thinking skills with different percentages. The prediction skills ranked the first with 56.23%, followed by the expectation skills at 31.31%. The visualization skills ranked the third with 12.46%, while the future problem solving skills was not included in the science book for the third preparatory grade. (Published abstract with amendment)
