The impact of the digital age on the educational aspect effectively and its effects were reflected in all educational institutions, as it led to the emergence of a huge amount of information and its systematic spread and the emergence of modern digital terms and techniques in education, which calls for the necessity of employing them in the university and training university teachers on them and improving the performance of university teacher in light of requirement of the digital age, therefore, the current research aimed to identify the performance of the university teacher in light of the requirements of the digital age in terms of its concept in its filed s of teaching, scientific research community service and the environment, university teachers skills in light of the requirement of the digital age and to identify the digital age in terms of its concept, its importance, its characteristics, and the reality of the performance of the university teacher in light of the requirements of the digital age, the researcher used the descriptive approach by analyzing some of the literature that dealt with the performance of the university teacher in the digital age and standing on the intellectual foundations for each of them the research also presented a theoretical framework in which it dealt with several axes, the first of which included the performance of the university teacher in terms of his concept, fields and skills, the second axis dealt with the digital age and dealt with its concept importance and characteristic, the third axis dealt with the reality of the performance of the university teacher in light of the requirements of the digital age and the fourth axis dealt with research recommends.
