The study aimed to measure the effectiveness of using mental maps in solving verbal mathematical problems among elementary school students. The study sample consisted of (32) pupils of the experimental group and (30) pupils of the control group, and the study was applied to a sample of primary school students in the National Bank of Sinai Primary School in the administration Al- Arish educational in the 2019-2020 academic year, and to verify the effectiveness of the strategy, a verbal mathematical problem-solving skills test was prepared, and the results of the study revealed a statistically significant difference at a significance level (0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental group students in the pre and post applications in favor of the post application. In light of these results, some proposals and recommendations were presented. (Published abstract)
