This research aims at investigating the behavioral problems of children in pre-school education as perceived by the teachers in governmental kindergartens in Khartoum North Locality and its relation with the following demographic variables gender, grade level, mother’s educational level, birth order. To achieve this objective the researcher uses the descriptive method. Total sampling method is applied to select a sample of [1] teachers. For data collection the researcher uses the behavioral problems scale prepared by Omeima Yousif (2012). Statistical Package for social Sciences (SPSS) is used to analyze the data by using: T-test for one sample, T-test for two samples, one way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), and Alpha Kronbach formula. The research came out with the following results: the behavioral problems of children in pre-school education as perceived by the teachers in governmental Kindergartens in Khartoum North Locality is statistically significant low (p=0.05). There are no statistically significant differences in the behavioral problems according to gender among the study population (p=0.05): there are no statistically significant differences in the behavioral problems according to grade level among study population except in habits disorder for Grade one Children (p=0.05). There are no statistically significant differences in the behavioral problems according to mother's educational level among the study population except in emotional problems for the basic educational level (p=0.05), likewise there are no statistically significant differences in the behavioral problems according to mother's work among the study population (p=0.05). There also no correlation ship between the behavioral problems and birth order among the study population (p=0.05). Finally, the researcher suggested some recommendations, including providing counselors at kindergartens to deal with habits disorder for the First Grade children. (Author's abstract)
