هدف البحث إلى توضيح دور الجامعة في مواجهة مخاطر العنف الإلكتروني التي يتعرض لها الشباب الجامعي. تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي لملاءمته لموضوع البحث. تم التوصل إلى عدد من النتائج، منها: ظهر العنف الإلكتروني كنتاج طبيعي للتفاعلات الافتراضية على شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي، وله العديد من المظاهر كالمضايقات، والرسائل المزعجة، والافتضاح الإلكتروني، الخ، وتتنوع وتتعدد مخاطره إلى مخاطر فردية وجماعية ومنها مخاطر بدنية ونفسية وثقافية واقتصادية، كما يمكن تفعيل دور الجامعة في مواجهة العنف الإلكتروني عبر شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي من خلال تحقيق بعض المتطلبات الخاصة بأعضاء هيئة التدريس والإدارة الجامعية والمناهج الدراسية. The aim of the current research is to clarify the role of the university in facing the electronic violence risks against university youth. The researcher used the descriptive approach to its relevance to the subject of research. The research found a number of results, including: Electronic violence emerged as a natural result of virtual interactions on social networks, and it has many aspects such as Flaming, Spamming, Cyber outing etc.; the risks of it vary to individual and community risks such as Psychological, cultural and economic risks; and the role of the university in facing electronic violence via the social networks can be activated through achieving some requirements of faculty members, university administration and curricula.
