The study aimed to know the role of digital education in developing the performance of educational leaders in the Saudi Ministry of Education, and the study also aimed to know the most important challenges that prevent the development of educational leaders’ performance. The study also monitored the most important features and characteristics of educational leadership, and the study used the descriptive approach, by using the questionnaire, It was applied to a sample consisting of (107) individual male and female educational leaders in the Saudi Ministry of Education. The study found a set of results, the most important of which are: 1) There is no statistically significant difference between the mean of the difference between (males and females) in the role of digital education in developing the performance of educational leaders in the Saudi Ministry of Education for the study sample. 2) There is a statistically significant difference between the average degrees of academic leaders with less than 10 years of experience and those with more than 10 years of experience of the role of digital education in developing the performance of educational leaders in the Ministry of Saudi Education. 3) There are statistically significant differences at the level of (0.01) between the average degrees of educational leaderships for public schools and their families who are in private schools for the role of digital education in developing the performance of educational leaders in the Saudi Ministry of Education for the study sample according to the school type variable (government - private). 4) There are statistically significant differences at the level (0.01) between the average degrees of Saudi and non-Saudi educational leaders for the role of digital education in developing the performance of educational leaders in the Saudi Ministry of Education among the study sample according to the variable of nationality (Saudi - non-Saudi).
