تهدف الدراسة إلى التعريف بأهمية الخدمات الانتقالية للأشخاص الصم. كما تهدف إلى تحديد القواعد الرئيسية في أبرز مجالاتها، مسلطةً الضوء على أنوع الخدمات الانتقالية وبعض النماذج لها. كما تذكر الباحثة الكفاءات والمهارات الأساسية التي تساعد في تحقيق الأهداف المرجوة من الخدمات الانتقالية للطلاب الصم من المرحلة الثانوية إلى التعليم العالي. وقد انتهت الدراسة بالإشارة إلى أهمية التوعية بها والتخطيط لها في ضوء تطوير برامج التربية الخاصة في وزارة التعليم بالمملكة العربية السعودية. The purpose of the study is to highlight the importance of transition services for Deaf individuals, while emphasizing the main objectives that compose this field’s central areas. In addition, this study sheds light on the different forms of transition services and provides examples of them. The author discusses the necessary skills required to achieve the objectives of transition services, specifically for deaf students from the high school level to higher education. The study concluded that awareness and planning of such objectives play a vital role in developing special needs programs in the Ministry of Education in Saudi Arabia. (Published abstract)
