قام البحث بالتعرف على دور المؤسسات التربوية في عملية الضبط الاجتماعي من حيث مشكلة البحث من خلال التساؤل التالي: ما دور المؤسسات التربوية في تحقيق عملية الضبط الاجتماعي؟ كما تعرض البحث لعدة أهداف من حيث (التعرف على مفهوم الضبط الاجتماعي والمؤسسات التربوية وأهميتهم ومعوقات تلك المؤسسات في عملية الضبط الاجتماعي ودور تلك المؤسسات التربوية في عملية الضبط الاجتماعي). كما تناول البحث أهميته ومنهجه وهو المنهج الوصفي، ومصطلحاته وهي (الدور والضبط الاجتماعي والمؤسسات التربوية)، وتناول البحث بعض الدراسات السابقة كدراسة "أمل حرات" ودراسة "إيهاب محمود". وتضمن البحث أيضا الإطار النظري للبحث من خلال معرفة أهمية الضبط الاجتماعي وأهدافه وأنواعه واتجاهه ووسائله وميكانزماته ونظرياته، والمؤسسات التربوية المسؤولة عنه كالأسرة والمدرسة وجماعة الرفاق ووسائل الإعلام والجهاز القضائي والأمني والرياضة، ودور تلك المؤسسات. The paper identified the role of educational institutions in social control through the problem of the study by asking the following question: What is the role of the educational institutions in achieving social control?. The paper deals with several objectives such as (identifying the concept of social control, the educational institutions, their importance, obstacles encountered by such the educational institutions, and the role of educational institutions in social control (The paper also deals with its significance and approach which is the descriptive approach, as well as its terms (i.e the role, social control and educational institutions). The paper has reviewed some of previous studies such as the study conducted by "Amal Hrat" and the study conducted by "Ehab Mahmoud". The paper includes a theoretical framework dealing with importance, objectives, types attitude, methods, mechanisms and theories of social control. the theoretical framework also deals with the educational institutions involved in the process of social control such as family, school, peer group, mass media, judicial and security authorities, and sports organization, as well as the role of these institutions.
