هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على التحديات التي تواجه أسر الأطفال ذوي الاضطرابات النمائية العصبية بالمنزل. وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (240) أسرة لديها أطفال يعانون من الاضطرابات النمائية العصبية. وقد تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي، وقد تم استخدام الأساليب الإحصائية: التكرارات والنسب المئوية والمتوسطات الحسابية والانحرافات المعيارية، واختبار (ت)، واختبار تحليل التباين الأحادي. كما تم استخدام استبانة التحديات التي تواجه أسر الأطفال ذوي الاضطرابات النمائية العصبية بالمنزل (إعداد الباحثين). وقد كشفت النتائج عن أكثر التحديات التي تواجه أسر الأطفال ذوي الاضطرابات النمائية العصبية بالمنزل في ضوء جائحة كورونا، هي صعوبة في رعاية الطفل ذاتيًا وحمايته من المخاطر، العجز عن تطبيق البرنامج التدريبي الفردي للطفل، وصعوبة في مواصلة أعمالهم بصورة طبيعية. كما توصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات التحديات التي تواجه أسر الأطفال ذوي الاضطرابات النمائية العصبية، ترجع لمتغير أعمار أسر الأطفال ذوي اضطراب طيف التوحد. كما أظهرت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات التحديات التي تواجه أسر الأطفال ذوي الاضطرابات النمائية العصبية ترجع للنوع لصالح أمهات الأطفال ذوي اضطراب طيف التوحد. وكذلك كشفت النتائج عن وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات التحديات التي تواجه أسر الأطفال ذوي الاضطرابات النمائية العصبية ترجع لمتغير لدرجة الإعاقة لصالح الدرجة الشديدة من اضطراب طيف التوحد. The study aimed to identify the challenges facing families of children with neurodegenerative disorders at home, in light of the (Covid-19) pandemic. Study sample consisted of (240) families with children with neurodevelopmental disorders, descriptive approach has been used, and statistical methods have been used for frequencies and percentages ,averages and standard deviations, (T) test, one-Way ANOVA test, and a questionnaire was used to figure out the challenges faced by families of children with neurodegenerative disorders at home (prepared by the researchers). The results revealed the most challenges facing families of children with neurodevelopmental disorders at home in light of the Corona pandemic, which is the difficulty in self-care and protection of the child from risks, the inability to implement the individual training program for the child, the difficulty in continuing their work normally. The results of the study also found that there were statistically significant differences between the averages of the challenges faced by children's families according to age in favor of families of children with autism spectrum disorder, as it showed statistically significant differences between the averages of the challenges faced by the families of children according to gender in favor of mothers of children with autism spectrum disorder, and the results also revealed a statistically significant difference between the averages of the challenges faced by children's families according to the degree of disability in favor of the severity of autism spectrum disorder.
