هدفت هذه الدراسة الى استقصاء أثر أستخدام تطبيق بودكاست الصادر عن المجلس الثقافي البريطاني على طلاقة طلبة الصف العاشر في اللغة الانجليزية لغة أجنبية واتجاهاتهم نحوه. تكون المشاركين في الدراسة من 40 طالبة في الصف العاشر، في مدرسة رابعة العدوية الأساسية المختلطة التابعة لمديرية التربية والتعليم لواء البادية الشمالية الغربية، في الفصل الدراسي الأول من العام الدراسي 2022/2023. تمّ اختيار هذه المدرسة قصدآ لأغراض لوجستية. وتمّ تقسيم الطالبات إلى مجموعتين، المجموعة الأولى تكونت من 20 طالبة وتم اختيارهن مجموعة ضابطة والمجموعة الثانية تكونت من 20 طالبة وتم اختيارهن مجموعة تجريبية. تم تدريس المجموعة الضابطة باستخدام الطريقة الإعتيادية، بينما تمّ تدريس المجموعة التجريبية باستخدام تطبيق بودكاست المجلس البريطاني. تمّ إجراء اختبار قبلي على المجموعتين للتأكد من عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين أدائهم قبل الدراسة. بعد ذلك، تمّ إجراء الإختبار البعدي لتقييم تأثير استخدام بودكاست المجلس البريطاني على طلاقة طالبات الصف العاشر في اللغة الانجليزية كلغة أجنبية. تمّ توزيع استبيان على المجموعة التجريبية لقياس أثر استخدام تطبيق بودكاست المجلس البريطاني على اتجاهاتهم. تم جمع البيانات في غضون 8 أسابيع، وتمّ تحليل درجات الطالبات. أشارت النتائج إلى أن أداء المجموعة التجريبية أفضل من أداء المجموعة الضابطة في الطلاقة. بالإضافة إلى ذلك أظهرت المشاركات اتجاهات إيجابية نحو التعلم من خلال تطبيق بودكاست المجلس البريطاني. وطبقآ لذلك تمّ تقديم مجموعة من التوصيات في نهاية الدراسة. This study aimed to investigate the effect of using the British council podcast application on 10th grade EFL students' fluency and their attitudes toward it. The participants of the study consisted of 40 tenth-grade female students at Rabiah Al- Adawiyah Basic Mixed School in the Northwest Badia Directorate of Education, in the first semester of the academic year 2022/2023. This school was purposefully chosen for logistic purposes. At that school, there were two tenth-grade sections; Section A (20 students) was chosen as a control group. Section b (20 students) was assigned as an experimental group. The control group was taught by using regular instruction, whereas the experimental group was taught by using the British Council Podcast Application. A pre-test was administered to the two groups to make sure that there were no statistically significant differences between their performances in fluency before starting the study. Then, the post-test was administered to assess the effect of using the British Council Podcast Application on tenth grade EFL students' fluency. A questionnaire was administered on the experimental group to measure the effect of using the British Council Podcast Application on their attitudes. Data was collected within 2 months and finally, the students' scores were analyzed. The results of the study indicated that the students in experimental group performed better than the students in control group in fluency due to using the British Council Podcast Application. Additionally, the participants had positive attitudes toward learning with the British Council Podcast Application. Accordingly, a set of recommendations were provided at the end of the study.
