تنطلق الدراسة من اعتبار أساسي مفاده أن نجاح عملية دمج التلاميذ ذوي الإعاقات البسيطة في الفصل العادي تعتمد بدرجة كبيرة على إلمام والتزام القائمين عليها بمجموعة من المقومات التي تؤسس عليها عملية الدمج التربوي. وقد هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى إبراز تلك المقومات الأساسية لبرامج الدمج التربوي وذلك لتزويد العاملين وخاصة معلمي الفصول العادية بالكيفية التي تتم بها تعليم هؤلاء الأطفال في إطار البيئة التعليمية العادية. ولتحقيق ذلك تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي لرصد تلك المقومات التي تناولتها الأدبيات المتوفرة. واتضح للباحث أن هناك مقومات أساسية مطلوبة عند تطبيق مبدأ الدمج التربوي تتمثل في: التخطيط المسبق لجميع أبعاد الدمج التربوي (كتحديد معايير مدى أهلية المعاق لتلك البرامج)، ومدى مرونة المنهج الدراسي العادي ومواءمته لاحتياجات هؤلاء الأطفال، وتدريب معلمي التعليم العام والتربية الخاصة وتزويدهم بالكفايات اللازمة لنجاح عملية الدمج التربوي. This study is based on the concept that the success of the mainstreaming of the mildly handicapped students is highly related to the knowledge of those who planning for their learning programs. This study aims to elaborate the basic factors needed in planning of successful mainstreaming programs for the mildly handicapped students in regular classroom. Depending on the description and analytic methodology, the researcher demonstrated and elaborated the basic factors beyond the success of mainstreaming programs. This elaboration revealed that there are a series of factors needed in the planning of successful mainstreaming programs for these individuals in the regular classroom. These factors represented in well preplanning of all components of mainstreaming program, the flexibilities of the general curriculum so as to match with the specific needs of these children and finally the training both regular and special education teachers by providing them with the necessary competencies.
