The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of a training program to improve the level of emotional intelligence to reduce the psychological stress of the kindergarten teachers. The sample consisted of 70 teachers from the government schools of Cairo, (53) years, and were divided into two groups of experimental groups (35) teachers, and a control of 35 (teacher) and used the researcher measure of emotional intelligence (prepared by Osman and Abda 1998), and measurement of psychological stress professional (Abeer Abdo El-Sharkawy, 2013). On the highest-pressure scale Psychic professional, and low scores on the scale of emotional intelligence. The Wilcoxon test was used to compare the central tendency measures of two groups, and the Mann-Whitney test for a comparison between two independent groups and the Spearman correlation factor. The results showed that the results of the training program in the "improvement" Emotional intelligence and reduce the level of psychological stress in the professional kindergarten teachers, and found the existence of an inverse correlation between occupational stress and emotional intelligence.
